Located in Santa Barbara's charming Old Town district, The Palace Grill features authentic Louisiana specialties such as Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffée, New Orleans Bar-B-Que Shrimp, Blackened Filet Mignon, and daily "Menu Additions". Fresh Seafood is flown in daily. Over the years, The Palace has become the city's favorite spot to enjoy Prime aged Steaks, awesome Seafood and authentic Cajun and Creole Cuisine. In addition we have a number of exciting Caribbean dishes and a line of Creole-Italian pastas.
Opened in May of 1985, the highly successful Palace Grill serves over 60 thousand dinners a year, and has been written up in publications throughout the world. At the Palace Grill, everyone shares one goal: to give our guests the most extraordinary dining experience possible: every time they visit. From this philosophy was born our unique system of Team Service, which has been featured in THE NATION'S RESTAURANT NEWS.
Our Team Service makes the whole staff available to you at all times. A guest need never look for the person who originally took their order, as any member of our staff can assist at any time. Every year since inception in 1988, the voters in the local Readers' Polls have honored The Palace Grill with the "Best Restaurant Service" Award. It isn't only about the food and service, however. We are especially known for our entertaining atmosphere, including our unique group sing-along when the energy is "just right". If it's celebration you want, The Palace Grill is your venue!
Mondays are "Local's Night" with special discounts for the Locals' Club members. Tuesdays we celebrate "Fat Tuesday" with Mardi Gras beads for everyone and the lively accordion sounds of Michael Guttin. Thursday nights our talented jazz saxophonist will greet you at the door with some appetizing tunes. On Friday be ready for surprises with Award winning Mark Collier performing spectacular magic tricks. Saturday, rock out with the toe-tappin' sounds of JT and the Zydeco Zippers, and work up an appetite before you sit down.
An innovative and exciting restaurant from the get-go, the Palace was a favorite spot for the White House press corps during the Reagan era in Santa Barbara. The highlight of our involvement with the White House was the selection of the Palace Grill to cater the dedication ceremonies at the Reagan Presidential Library. To insure that we remain as authentic as any restaurant in the French Quarter, the Palace routinely flies its entire staff to New Orleans to experience first-hand the magical quality of the city that has inspired the spirit of the Palace Grill.
Our mission is to provide our customers with the very best quality food and service experience. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to completely satisfy each and every one of our customers. We seek to employ happy, healthy people with high morale. We encourage an environment in which our staff is empowered to seek out progressive and innovative ways to surprise and delight our customers. To that end, our management will maintain honest, open, and timely communication with our staff as well as clear goals and clear expectations. We pledge to operate an efficient, profitable business and to provide our staff with the necessary motivation, stability, training, and tools too.
We have developed long standing relationships with our vendors so let us deal with some of the headaches attributed to acquiring rental equipment, decorations, lighting, DJ's and photography. Let us make your next event hassle-free and pleasurable. "Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler!"
