Ordered a pizza and ice cream at eleven pm. Charged it. Nothing ever showed up and when calling the company oh well we are closed this is why santa barbara has no customer service its a joke. We should all move to mexico.

Decent Pizza, Mediocre Service
Reviewer: David from Santa Barbara, CA
The pizza here is pretty decent, especially if you order the thin crust. Also, delivery is pretty prompt... hopefully, not at the cost of endangering pedestrians as noted below. I'd rather wait a few more minutes if that's the case. My big complaint is that Rusty's has mixed up some portion of my order 3 out of the last 5 times. None of the mix ups has been really major. But, come on, it's a pizza order.

Hey, delivery lady in the red car - SLOW DOWN
Reviewer: Mike from Santa Barbara, CA
You almost killed that poor old lady on Haley. While we were all stopped for her as she crossed, you veer left and came so close to hitting her. SLOW DOWN...this should be the only tip you get - ever.

Good Food, Nice People
Reviewer: Glenn from Buellton
This is still the best pizza in SB for me. Its pricey but the pizza is done so right its worth it for me. Relatives that are out of town crave this place over any other pizza place in town, its an SB original and will probably continue to be voted the best pizza in SB. Nice little place. One of the smaller of the Rustys in town but adequate seating. Video games, Server was really nice. Serve yourself soda. Adequate lighted parking at night.

Lost Love
Reviewer: Tom from Santa Barbara, CA
Used to go to Rusty's all the time but they have raised their prices beyond belief! The pizza is good but for $20-$40 average order you might as well call a local food pickup/delivery service and get it from a real Italian restaurant.

don't blame the delivery driver
Reviewer: mlaura from montecito, ca
My family has been in the pizza business for 15+ years in a neighboring county. I feel for these kids delivering. A tip is the american not to mention the proper thing to do. Gas prices plus the wear and tear on their car to bring you food thus saving you the gas money, the wear and tear, the traffic, and most of them work for minimum wage. Lets not forget trying to find some of these addresses, unfriendly dogs, and customers who think they are the only people waiting for a pizza thus taking their time getting to the door and not having the money or check ready, making the driver wait and the next customer waiting to chew out the poor driver. I have done it myself it is a tough job believe it or not, so I know what I am talking about. You would be surprised how many people DO NOT tip the pizza delivery guys and girls. By the way the delivery charge is applied by an OWNER and is only a dollar or two. A tip just says thanks for the delivery. Where would we be without the pizza deliverers........hmmmmmmmm

Great pizza, rude delivery people!
Reviewer: Nancy from Santa Barbara, CA
I have to say that I love Rusty's pizza, but it is a bit overpriced (A small one-topping almost $15 dollars, not to mention a delivery charge that they don't tell you about when you place an order. Also, it is very annoying when the delivery person asks how much change you want back aka. how much tip am I getting. So I just stopped tipping, I figured the "delivery charge" should cover that. I will just pick up my pizza there from now on.

times have changed
Reviewer: Jay Adams from SB
Well all i can say is the pizza taste the same but yes i have had a few times where the pizza was made wrong or they just forgot too make it after i phoned in an order.... but just realize now most don't speak english that work there.. and gas prices have gone up so prices had gone up.. such is life..

Good pizza, horrible prices
Reviewer: Peter Dafoe from Santa Barbara, CA
I've eaten Rusty's since I was a kid and love it and I was loyal to it. However, it has just become way overpriced. A pizza with toppings and maybe a soda just isn't worth almost 30 dollars. I used a coupon that gave me a large with 1 topping for 11.99. I ordered just 2 sides of ranch and the total comes to 19.00! If you want to tip the driver, you're paying more than that. I called back and cancelled my order. I'm done with Rusty's. There are a few other places that are far cheaper with better pizza in my opinion.

Rusty's is getting a lot pricier
Reviewer: Pete from Santa Barbara, Ca
I ordered a large regular 4 topping pizza plus a 6 pack of diet coke and they charged me well over $27.00....By the time I get it delivered and pay the driver it'll be well over $35.00 with tip! Rusty's is good but I think it's time for me to shop around and find tasty meat sauce on tosted bread and a few vegies with melted cheese.......Time to find a good $20.00 with tip large pizza some where else...

Great pizza but...
Reviewer: Jacob from Santa Barbara
I think their pizza is actually really good, but the prices are outrageous! I hate how expensive this town has to be that businesses have to charge so much in order to survive. They get a five but bring refinance papers. They don't serve to basically disregard the service.

bad service 20.00$ large pepperoni
Reviewer: wally from santa barbara
grew up here in Santa Barbara and used to (USED TO) love Rusty´s as a kid...when they had good service (drivers didn´t ask you "how much change you want back" - i.e. ´how much of a tip are you gonna give me´), delivered the pizza in a reasonable amount of time (not 1.5 hours after placing the order), GOT YOUR ORDER RIGHT (literally every other time at of the last 9 times I´ve ordered it has arrived at my door wrong), and didn´t ´over-charge´ for delivery service (old cost = $0.00, new ´delivery charge´ = $2.00+) without even informing you.
