bad service
Reviewer: david from Santa Barbara, CA
Ordered food to go, got there paid for food waited 20 minutes and then asked about my pizza, which they forgot to put in the oven. The rest of my order was cold, staff is amateur at best.

Great fast food
Reviewer: David Moore from CA
I've been eating here for years. Sorry to see you go.

I love this place!
Reviewer: Alison Marie from Santa Barbara, CA
I am so depressed to hear that P.P. is closing. I love the food, prices and service. I hope that they look around Goleta and find another location (not owned by the big, bad wolf corp)to open up in. I'm sure all their loyal customers will follow wherever they may go. I have take out for my mother and I, at least, once a week. With the large portions it goes for two dinners. I love this place!!!!!!

Relocate?
Reviewer: Glenn from Buellton
I wonder if they could move to one of the other places that may be opening up. China City nearby or Quiznos across the street. I was surprised they also have a Ventura, Newberry Park and a Drive Thru place in Camarillo! Almost on par for me of Pancho Villa closing(where Trader Joes is now) with the memories.

Noooooooo!
Reviewer: Nancy from Santa Barbara, CA
Presto Pasta on Calle Real is closing because of their rent being increased! That is terrible. All the affordable restaurants are closing around there. Boooo to Towbes! PP has the best cheap Italian food. I love everything. I am heartbroken. I hope the other PP in Santa Barbara won't close.

Fabulous food and great service
Reviewer: Eryn from Santa Barbara, CA
I consider myself a "foodie" and love Ca Dario, the Chase, the Palace, and other top Santa Barbara restaurants. But for a quick bite with your family on a weeknight, Presto Pasta cannot be beat. The food is fabulous, and the staff is extremely friendly. We have and will continue to come to Presto Pasta at least once a week. There aren't a lot of quality choices for "fast food" in Goleta, but Presto Pasta is one of the few!

presto pasta......horrible
Reviewer: Stephanie from Santa Barbara, CA
I will never eat here again! First of all, when you walk in all you see are these chuck-e-cheese booths. Even worse is the food. You can get better food for $2 from the frozen food aisle. The bread was horrible and the pasta tasted like it could have been reheated about seven times and then served. I definitely do NOT suggest going here.

Good food/service
Reviewer: Glenn from Buellton
Kind of like a fast food Italian style place, you pick what kind of combo you want. They do have pizza which was good too. Only problem is if you can't handle the cheese don't come here as there is a lot of it in everything! Been in Goleta a long time and is popular so they must be doing something right!

Quick and easy just like a microwave
Reviewer: christopher jones from goleta ca
this food was food and thats all it was. No quality. I could have microwaved better pasta. the bread tasted like a spunge. and the salad was nothing special save some time, and money, and dont visit a Pasta Prest

Old fashioned italian restaurant
Reviewer: Joe Price from Santa Barbara, CA
I both eat at the restaurant (Santa Barbara and Goleta) and order take out for the shop I work at. The food is good and the service is excellent. Sometimes the owner of the Presto Pasta chain is there and he is always friendly and works side by side with the staff making sure your order is prepared and ready in short order. If you want the flair of the low lights and the bow-tied waiter than Presto is not for you. If you want a reasonabally priced meal that is of good quality with friendly service in a super clean atmosphere than Presto is your kind-a-place.

awesome pasta
Reviewer: Lealanna & Lily from Goleta , CA
Lealanna - It's a great restraunt and the food is the greatest. I like the pasta and my cousin likes it too ................ Lily - The pasta was delicious .... the service was friendly and it was very clean. I would recommend this restraunt because the food tastes so authentic and homeade.

10 thumbs up NO DOUBT!!
Reviewer: Sara Johston from santa barbara
THE FOOD IS SUPER!!! IT CAN GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS PEOPLE. I LOVED IT AND THE WHOLE ENVIRONMENT WAS FRIENDLY WHEN I WENT THERE. I WENT LAST MAY AND THE YOUNG TALL LADY THERE WAS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. HER SMILE BROUGHT A HAPPY ATMOSHPERE TO THE RESTUARNT, I HAVENT GONE RECENTLY TO PRESTO PASTA, BUT MY HUSBAND SAYS THAT THE YOUNG LADY NO LONGER WORKS THERE, WHAT A BUMMER. BUT I HOPE TO GO BACK SOON AND BE GREETED BY OTHER HAPPY EMPLOYEES. OVERALL I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE IN PRESTO PASTA IN GOLETA

Stay Home If You Dont Like The Establishment
Reviewer: Robert from Goleta
To the reviewer that said she made better spaghetti at home... why dont you just stay home and open that awful bottle of prego sauce just so you can make yourself happy. Maybe then you can go around telling people just how great of a "wannabe" italian you are with your big bad bottle of manufactured sauce. Thats okay, Presto pasta doesnt need your money.

Low quality food
Reviewer: Annie from Goleta
The ingredients are low quality, and I make better spaghetti at home. Sauces were watered down. Pasta was a little cold.

High Quality, No Frills, Great Value!!
Reviewer: Robert from Goleta, CA
Whoever said a person needs to eat at the Olive Garden and spend 50-70 dollars for a meal was wrong. I for one am sick and tired of local residents poking fun of Presto Pasta. The place is awesome considering that you just pay one price for high quality italian food for a great value. Presto Pasta doesnt use any gimmicks or tricks....they are esentially a "no frills" place whereby people can have a quick dinner and conversation. In addition, many of the wealthy families in Santa Barbara take the kids because the place offers good food for low prices. Bottom line: the place cant be beat considering that for $14.00 dollars I had a large chicken caesar salad, minestrone soup, pasta arribiata with garlic bread, and a tiramisu plus drink.

WONDERFUL
Reviewer: Violeta Gomez from Santa Barbara, CA
unlike the person below me, i love it! i have never had the chicken served here, but their pasta's and salad's are the some of the best i have had in Santa Barbara, and i have been a white Santa Barbarian all my life.

inedible

This is refering to the Goleta location. I found the food to be of very low quality, even for a fast food type resturant. The chicken did not taste fresh and in general was over-seasoned to the point where I could not eat it. I would not eat here again.
