Great place to eat before going to Chumash Casino!, 2/25/2013

The Burger Barn - GREAT place to eat - wholesome, tasty food every time we have eaten there. The staff is very attentive, polite, and professional. We took a crowd of 16 there in 2012 and all from different California cities wished they had a restaurant like this in their neighborhood! Their fresh fruit bowl they serve with breakfast is the freshest we have had in a restaurant. Check them out when you are on your way to the Chumash Casino which is just down the street - it'll get you in the mood to win at the casino - they open at 7:00 AM 7 days a week!

Always friendly, efficient service. Well run establishment. Santa Maria chili size is huge, delicious. Enjoy tri-tip sandwich, beans. Consistent, pleasant place for lunch on a Sunday afternoon.

Ok food/service

Just Ok food/service. Basically like diner food. They do have kids meals with healthy alternatives. Also it was relatively inexpensive. Not a "fine dining" experience but adequate. They have seating both in and out. Stay away from the front door that slams shut every time its opened(get a table in the back second room or outside on a sunny day). Some fly problems. Waitress Just Ok.

Really good burger. I had a Kobe burger and my lady had a beautiful Cobb salad. The prices were very reasonable also. Great wine and beer selection. True local's hideout. We'll be back.

Great food, nice atmosphere

Better than average hamburgers. Sweet potato fries a nice touch. Chili burger is swimming in chili. Flies are a problem but seem to be in the whole area with all the horses around. Still, much more affordable than anywhere else in town and patio is lovely.
