Hidden Sushi Gem & Best Boba in Santa Barbara, 6/12/2014
Reviewer: Annabelle from Santa Barbara, CA
This is the best BOBA (Bubble) tea in all of Santa Barbara. Tea flavors are made from authentic tea leaves. Refills are free if you are shopping in the store. The sushi is also handmade with care. The owner and staff take pride in their product and service, and it shows. I got a party tray of sushi and it was a big hit. The sushi is as fresh as any restaurant in town and custom made to order. It is way more fresh that mass market manufactured sushi trays.

Spring Roll on Steroids!

For $6 you get a giant wrap filled with lettuce, cabbage, purple sticky rice, cucumbers, avocado, carrots, and your choice of fish - I love the spicy tuna as that comes with spicy mayo sauce inside. Super fresh, tasty and filing. I can't believe I didn't try it sooner. I didn't know spring rolls this huge existed and I've been eating them since I was probably 2 years old! A great bang for your buck. They have an array of other sushi goodies that i might try out one day, but love the wraps. Noms.

WOW!

The spicy CA rolls are not only cheap ($5) but incredibly delicious. This is NOT a grocery store sushi that is flavorless with hard rice; this is a real, fresh sushi. I was tempted to get the spicy tuna roll for $7, but was afraid I'd not be able to finish it--it's a very generous portion of food. The service was good and pleasant. What a great way to enjoy inexpensive and quick yet delicious lunch.

Great Food and Great Service - enough said!

Terrific value! First off, the owner and employees are always very kind - you can tell they take pride in the customer service they provide. Good choice of ready made rolls and even better choice if you want something specific. For 5 bucks, you get plenty of great tasting sushi to fill you up!

GREAT.... WRAP OR ROLL 5 BUCKS

It is a take out service. The wraps in rice paper are great so I am sure the rolls are too. Simple menu cannot go wrong. I will be going back soon. Work across the street. Try it you will love it. Just need alittle more seame oil in the seaweed salad less water. But over all GREAT....

Good Food, Nice People

The wrap I had was also really good, high quality and inexpensive. They have a small yogurt bar too with fresh fruit from Alberstons who they are partnered with. People are very nice. They apparently have other stores in Hawaii. Definitely recommended!

fantastic

Went there for the first time last week and I LOVED it! The veggie wrap was so delicious and the sauce that went with it was perfect as well. My boyfriend got the salmon sushi and spicy edamame which he loved. All the people working there were super helpful and friendly, I plan on going back as soon as I get off work!
