Can I give it 10 stars?, 10/4/2014

It was suggested that we go to the "Kitchen" for the fabulous drinks. We went this evening (Saturday) and were told they were booked, but that there was space at the bar. The three of us sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by David, a mixologist extraordinaire!!! Watching him concoct these creative cocktails was a huge part of the whole experience. All of the mixologists (bartender just isn't descriptive enough) employ beakers, thermometers, precision measuring devices that were no doubt borrowed from a college lab. Fresh fruit, veggies, and herbs are muttled and the flavor coaxed into an absolutely incredible experience!
We offered cheers to each other and sipped with delight! Then, we ordered their artichoke to be followed by the mushroom and housemade sausage pizza. The Globe Artichoke. Only one word came to mind....for all of us ~ orgasmic!!! I've had many artichokes cooked in many different ways, this was grilled and baked. We know the menu tells us they use "fresh thyme, parmigiano, mediterranean style mayo," but we also know there was a strong infusion of gastronomic magic too! Decadent. Delicious. Done.
But wait!!! We still had pizza to eat! Hard to top orgasmic and gastronomic magic, but....yep, the pizza was that good!!!!
OK, excellent food - check! Excellent drinks - check. But, let's get back to the service, which is impeccable! Watching the interactions of the chefs, servers, mixologists, and others was like watching a beautiful ballet. Each one engaged with their customers and yet taking time to assist the other. It felt like "family." David was absolutely delightful and darling. A rock star, I'd say! Bottom line: We'll be back and will be bring our SB friends and family with us!

My husband and I dined with his parents at SY Kitchen last weekend. From start to finish the dinner was perfect. Gorgeous location, impeccable service, amazing food. Tasty cocktails and an extensive wine list as well. As a vegetarian, I had a veggie pizza which was to die for. Others had salmon and meat dishes which they also said were incredible. To finish, the tiramisu was the best I've ever had. It comes in a little jar and is fabulous and highly recommended. The restaurant is not cheap, but it's worth every penny!
