Simple Pleasure, 6/19/2014

Nothing fancy, just tacos; served quickly in a friendly, clean enviornment with choice of three very good salsas. No beer or margaritas, and not a place to really linger at; kinda like fast food, but tastier.

Tacos & radishes? Only?!, 3/13/2014

I live right nearby. I thought I would try it out. The line moves well, they call your number soon enough. I had one chicken and two kinds of beef tacos. At $1.60 ea I can see the appeal, 3 is a meal but that's all you can get here except for onions, cilantro, and sliced radishes? Very bland ones at that. 3 kinds of salsa, all pretty good. They keep the place clean too. Well my tacos were dry as a bone, especially the beefs. No sour cream, no cheese, no lettuce, not one side dish. Come'on how hard it is to operate a rice maker and offer a real meal? I am not impressed and won't be back.

Good Food and Service, 1/16/2014

I like this place much better than the downtown one. There everything tasted the same to me(oily). This one I can taste the difference more, fave is the adobada. Very small tacos on corn tortillas. Tortillas not hand made. Chicken Fajita good too. Don't like the Asada(too oily) and the Maciza(too bland). Be nice to combine veggie taco(good) with maciza. Have not tried any of the exotic meats. Adequate Eating area and people nice there and will explain things to you.

Quick Service and Fair prices, 1/6/2014

Came to here to see what all the rave was about. Quick service type set-up, order at the register and pick up your food when your # is called. Had the asada and chicken-fajita taco and tasted very fresh and was tender. If you are a big eater, need to order at least 4-5 to get full. it would be nice to have the salsa bottles and salsa trays labeled, mild, spicy and "better buy a water" HOT. Establishment is new so still very clean. Customer base seems more UCSB student oriented and after lunch rush still wash pretty busy.

These tacos are so good. The meat is delicious and the condiments add extra flavor and heat. I LOVE Lilly's Taqueria. Thanks for coming to Goleta.
