DISAPPOINTED TODAY
Reviewer: Tina from Carpinteria, CA
I normally love Pollo Loce but lately it seems to be going downhill, at least the Goleta location. I have an addiction to their crunchy chicken tacos, but they used to be 1.29 and now they are over $2 each. They are so good I still order them though they are not really worth it, but today they were so bad...they were not as crunchy as usual and they were broken on the bottom, not very much lettuce or cheese.

order wrong very often
Reviewer: gorge tomson from Santa Barbara, CA
last THREE times i have ordered to go, they have messed something up. they forgot the sauce on the chicken when i specifically ask for it, they forget the dressing for my salad (which is the only thing that makes their salad any good). usually the older man that takes orders gets something wrong, i find. food is good when they get it right. if you order to go, i HIGHLY recommend you check your order thoroughly before leaving the restaurant, because its very likely they forgot something.

1 star = steak only!
Reviewer: elle from goleta, ca
They need to stick with chicken only. I rated the food based on the steak taco I had. What an unfortunate mess! I will never order that again, and maybe even giving a star was generous. Stick to what you know, EPL!

Greatest Dollar Menu in Goleta
Reviewer: John from Good Land
El Pollo Loco has the greatest dollar menu around. I routinely eat there for under $5.00 and get four different items. Today was the side salad, quesadilla, taco, and (for a change of pace), the buffalo wings. The dollar items were killer as usual and the wings were a surprise. They were good (fried not grilled unfortunately), but the sauce was not a traditional wing sauce, but more of a mexican garlic blend. Still, I would recommend them to all who asked. It did however, take me ten minutes to explain that I only wanted drummettes and not the actual wings, that was kind of a bummer.

Great food

Love chicken and salsa. Great food for the buck.

Custom Orders Not a Problem
Reviewer: Nicole from Santa Barbara, CA
I like the service here, food comes out quickly and you can watch them make it. My favorite thing to get is the BRC burrito. Delicious and cheap! I always ask them to put a lot of cilantro in it and they always do. Wonderful place to grab a quick lunch or late snack.

Poor Food it was burned!
Reviewer: Ben K from Santa Barbara, CA
Hey my name is Ben from Santa Barbara, I went to El Pollo Loco today I got the 7 pieces for $5.99. Instead of putting it right away they left it sitting for a few minutes and the most of chicken was burnt but please owner or manager you need to have common sense don't burn chicken.

Good Filling Food, Good Salsa Bar
Reviewer: Glenn from Buellton
A step up from Taco run to the bathoom Bell and comparable to taco bell prices. Good sides. Nice inside area with a lot of seating. Salsa Bar always has a good variety. Unlimited Drinks. Quick food. Healthy kids options. Only negatives were not very fresh chips and some soda selections were out.

Grilled Fiesta Burrito is the BOMB
Reviewer: Bandito from Goleta, CA
As far as fast food places go, this has the best burrito out of them all. A little pricier than TB, but this burrito worth it. It's HUGE and stuffed with freshly grilled chicken, rice, tortilla strips, and a bunch of other stuff. Use the spicy red Chipotle sauce to complete this culinary delight. Viva el Pollo Loco!!

Canned Beans?
Reviewer: Veronica from Goleta, CA
I ate there recently and ordered a family meal with beans, rice, tortillas, & salsa. The beans tasted like canned beans and the rice was old and crunchy and tasted like it came from a box. The service was terrible because the cashier was very rude because she was upset because I asked her for a couple of more forks. The chicken was very dry and tasted awful. I'll never go there again.

$1 menu!
Reviewer: ln from goleta, ca
For a limited time only, enjoy the $1 menu. Quick chicken taco al carbon for $1? Quesadilla for $1? Two churros for $1? Where else can you get something of good quality for such value?
