Last May, reader Primetime told me that one of the oldest restaurants in Santa Barbara, Arnoldi’s Café at 600 Olive Street, which was founded by Giuseppe and Ilda Arnold in 1937, has closed after the death of co-owner David Peri. I was also told that the closure might be temporary. They are back to normal operating business hours 7 days a week 5-9 p.m. and also will be open every Sunday at 10 a.m. for NFL football season with fun eats and drinks. Call (805) 962-5394 or visit arnoldis.com.
