Very delicious!, 10/6/2008

My boyfriend and I live in Montecito and discovered Sento Sesto a few months back. We've since gone 3 times and every time it's been absolutely delicious. The food is fresh, original and extremely well priced. This is definitely one of our favorites. If you go there, be patient with the waitstaff. When we've been there, they seem a bit short staffed, so it may take a bit longer than other restaurants. But with their wine list and romantic environment, it's definitely worth the wait.

I first went here on a date with my boyfriend and we had a great time. Very romantic setting inside and out. We were greeted by Chef Taylor who answered any questions we had about the food and wine. We left it up to him to give us a good assortment of his favorites, and he left us impressed! Our favorites are the ahi tartar, lamb with chimichurri sauce, and the fancy mac and cheese...can't forget the chocolate mousse! Perfect size dishes so you can try a few things. Great wine pairing with each as well. I have been twice since with family and friends and been just as pleased. We'll see you soon!

We went there recently with visiting family. Elegant decor, nice attentive service. I had been there before for a glass of wine and appetizers. This time we tried it all - appetizers, wine, and entrees. Everything was very good and very reasonably priced. My husband loved the lamb chops - we'll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by a knowledgeable staff. They recommended excellent wine to our taste. Accompanied by delectable bites to eat. The mushroom risotto was perfect and the smoked duck was delightful. I love to see restaurants like this one where the environment is conducive to sociability. You never leave regrettably stuffed but instead fulfilled.

Needs a kitchen, 8/8/2008

Walked in...No one to greet us. Had to walk to the back to find someone. We get to what was suppose to be a "kitchen?" only a partition to separate us from the "kitchen". The tables were very close to each other. It be awkward if it was crowded, there's no personal space for an intimate date. The tables were tiny to be comfortable at. The food tasted like it was cooked on a hot plate. It was expensive, it was not good. we will not go back to bad cause it is romantically decorated, it would be a great date restaurant.
