Best Coffee Place Ever
Reviewer: Melodie from Santa Barbara, CA
Basically the title sums it up. This really is the best place to get mochas, any type really. I was going to list some of my favorites to have but then I realized I was typing up the entire menu. Can't go wrong with their drinks!

Jimmy Rustlers

I really enjoy their mocha chai lattes, but it really rustled my jimmies when they put bacon in my bacon less burrito. They're real jimmy rustlers.

Equivalent to 7-Eleven

I decided to veer from my normal routine and actually order food instead of the usual coffee. I regretted the decision almost immediately. My breakfast burrito was put in a panini press...ok? I would have preferred a warning that I was about to be served a $5 smashed-tasteless "burrito". The plain bagel, substituted for the jalapeno bagel that they were out of, was only half toasted. Really? The only preparation is to toast the damn thing and that was a miserable fail. Oh and the cashier mentioned that their sandwiches were all brought in ready made...yum!

AWESOME coffee house

I've enjoyed Zizzos since the first time I walked in! I'm ALWAYS greeted with a Super friendly staff and excellent specialty coffee drinks that taste a bit more fresh and genuine then a lot of the chain coffee houses in SB. Starbucks has got nothing on this local coffee shop!

The place is run by college kids obviously so you need to expect that kind of service. Everytime I have gone(not 100x though!)though they have been very cordial. What is nice about the place is the drive up service when you are in a rush. Much better food for you than J in Box drive thru up the street! The are probably rushing for the drive through as most drive throughs do. They make their own salads and sandwiches on premises. Definitely go to Starbucks if want friendlier service though, its what they are known for but your review was so out of the blue I had to go by there again tonite and I did not see anybody particularly rude but all were nice. I would encourage you to try more places in town though over one place 3x a week no matter what it is to experience the sb area cuisine more.

Workers are so impersonal

So I have been going to this coffee house for about a year. It's the only one right by my office, and I don't want to walk all the way over to Starbucks. So for a year these people have seen me about 3 times a week. They have to know who I am. Not once have they ever said Hello to me, they act like I have never been to this place and they are rude. They never smile, they act like they are always in a hurry, they act like they hate their job. I talked to a co-worker of mine about it, and the same thing although he has been going for about 3 years! So he quit about 6 months ago and started going to Starbucks across the street (Camino Real) and he now knows the manager by name, he gets free drip and other flavors. I decided to give it one last shot today and SAME thing. She was so unfriendly and unpleasant. Done and done again.

small business with big taste!

I support small businesses, and not being from the goleta area I was looking for a coffee house other than Starbucks. I commute back and forth to UCSB for class in the early mornings and stumbled upon Zizzos. I was greeted by a friendly staff, and the manager made my drink. I enjoyed my plain americano, which didn't put much of a dent in my pocket! I will be returning to Zizzos very soon!

Great...when the manager is working

I finally decided to try Zizzo's after my coworkers raved about it. My first drink was made by the manager, I LOVED it. I had it with the best Zucchini bread I have ever had. I have been back on a regular basis and my drink order has gone downhill. It seems they have hired some new employees, who don't make the drinks up to par. Maybe some more training is needed? I will give them a few weeks to figure some things out before I go back.

Best coffee place in town

Coffee taste and service is good, I recommend the breakfast burrito along with the coffee latte,

Well worth a try…

My previous coffee shop relationship turned sour and I was looking for a new place to call home. Zizzos doesn't have a lot of space inside, but there is space outside on the patio and much of the traffic is drive-thru. Very good vibe. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. I haven't had a bad drink there. They make better soy lattes and mochas than any coffee shop I have ever been to! Drip coffee is excellent as well, and they have a few fair trade and organic options to choose from. Glad to have them nearby.

awesome place!

I go to Zizzo's all the time. The employees are so friendly and personable. I love the coffee. So glad it's in Santa Barbara. Try it soon!

Waaaay better than Starbucks!
Reviewer: Jami from Santa Barbara, CA
I am addicted to Starbucks so I speak with an experienced palette. The taste of Zizzo's coffees are delicious. I am excited about the Mexican mocha because they actually use the Mexican powder my abuelita used to make me cocoa with. Very nice coffee spot to get a great tasting coffee on the go. i never wait more than 3 mins for my drinks.
