Pupusas!, 7/16/2009
Reviewer: Emily from Santa Barbara, CA
It doesn't really matter how they spell it on the sign. Pupusas are delicious! Also, good curtido. Great prices.

I wanted to try your restaurant and you where closed. What happened in a restaurant you should be open even if you are by yourself I don't know what happened if you went out for lunch then you should have a sign say you went to lunch and will re-open. I don't appreciate any restaurants who closes with no reason and when I came to try your restaurant it was 1:30pm and it said on your close sign 9am-9pm and no one was there that made me mad you are not going to make money that way I can tell you right off top!

Yummy, and I liked the the Pupusa, 4/16/2009
Reviewer: Nicole B. from Santa Barbara, CA
My boyfriend and I came here because of the pupusa sign (he's part Salvadorean). We got the meat one, and while it was bigger than traditional pupusas I thought it was very tasty, good flavors. We got other dishes as well - I got the chicken mole (really good earthiness) and he got the Shrimp Diabla (very spicy, and he likes spicy). The price was right and the portions were very generous, I had enough for another full meal the next day. We had a little language barrier problem at the window, but I would definitely go back here. Yum!

Potential but they need work, 4/13/2009

Stopped by today to grab a burrito to go. First time there and thought I would give it a try. The burrito tasted okay and the portions and price were good but the burrito was not well put together. It fell apart pretty quickly and I always judge a good burrito by its handiness. Additionally, there were some odd ingredients in there like peas, green beans (I think) and corn. Nothing that I dislike, just not typical. I don't know if I will try again. There are too many other excellent choices out there. They might make it on proximity to the school but they should try and pare down the menu a bit and focus on what they might be good at.

best mexican fast food! and great service, 4/6/2009

I resently went to this restaurant and was busy. I decided to wait in line even though it was pretty long. To my surprise the line went fast and the food was all so fast.I eat there and was clean, and the service was great. During the time i was eating the cashier came up to me and ask how everything was and made sure i had everything i needed. You dont get that service in a fast food. The food was 5 stars and with the amount of food they have ill be going there untill i try everything.

the tortillas are not hand made, 4/6/2009
Reviewer: MARIO GONZALEZ from Santa Barbara, CA
i don't know why but the tortillas are not hand made. and i'm not sure if it's the beef or what it is the tacos are horrible at least i did'nt like it but it needs more customers and stop lying in the radio THE TORTILLAS ARE NOT HAND MADE..

Average mexican food... good salsa. Not POPUSAS!!!, 3/30/2009
Reviewer: Antonio from Santa Barbara, CA
Mexican food was average food (tacos). I notice you have Central American food on the menu. I believe that is what you advertise "POPUSAS". You wrote it wrong!! It is called "PUPUSAS". This is not Mexican food. I tried them, and it does not and taste like a real pupusa. Need to concentrate more on your tacos instead of food that you dont even know from other countries. Good salsa.
