Wanted to love this place
Reviewer: Charlotte from Goleta
Unfortunately we went on a busy Sunday afternoon, we waited in line for well over 20 mins. Four sandwiches, two orders of fries, three ice teas and one glass of wine was $78.00!! Ok. Well the food better be as good as it reads on the menu. It was mediocre at best and NOT worth the price. Fried chicken sand. Was a thin, dry, salty piece of chix....couldn't eat it. Meatloaf sand was odd, soft on soft, no texture, boring meatloaf. The homemade tomato jam, tastes like canned, stewed tomatoes. Pastrami was like leather but I really liked the shaved fennel in the sandwich. The pulled pork was great but desperately needed BBQ sauce and the fennel didn't work in that sandwich. Soggy fries that took 45 mins. Our food took over 30 mins. Sitting in a dining room full of dirty tables, floor, bathroom was a disaster. Clearly these guys weren't capable of being slammed on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely not worth the $$$ and time. Wanted to love this place... not going back.

Good Food and Service

This place has been here a year, its expanding next door also. Good higher end sandwiches and salads, pricey but good with large portions. People are nice. Seating inside and out. They have a kid's menu also.

Have gone for breakfast and lunch several times. Love everything I have had! Great people working there. I have even taken home some of their bacon, expensive bacon, but best I have ever had! Great place to take friends visiting! Plan on going back for dinner soon!
