Good food, bad prices, 7/10/2015

Sorry to see this place go, but it was predictable. I know there has been a lot of back-and-forth written up about foot traffic in that slightly out of the way location, but I really feel the downfall was its prices. Sorry, but no matter how delicious your food is not many people are willing to fork down $17-$20 for one bowl of pasta. It's really just that simple.

Pasta Shoppe is terrific all the way around, 1/13/2015

I don't know why we haven't come here before. Our food was just wonderful, pasta texture divine and the bolognese sauce to die for! Very friendly staff, generous portions and very comfortable. We'll be back often.

Fresh and delicious!, 11/28/2014

I've had both lunch and dinner at the Pasta Shoppe several times. Each time I've been blown away by the creativity and authenticity of the dishes. The menu is select and carefully considered. It's fun to watch the cooking going on, and the service has always been warm and welcoming. I've purchased fresh pasta to take home and cook, which has been fun - the results are so much better than dried pasta from any store. The price point is reasonable... I can't recommend it any more highly - check it out!

Ready for Business?, 10/20/2014

I've stopped by this shop on a few occasions when at the Public Market with the intension of buying some items to take home and each time they have nothing ready to sell. They allegedly open at 10am to sell pasta and other product. Today (I arrived after 10:30) they did not have anything available to sell in the display cabinets or behind the counter. I went there for the sole purpose of buying some pasta and sauce and left empty handed once again. Maybe when you are open for business you should have something to sell?

Great Happy Hour, 8/16/2014

We've been to their happy hour three times now. The food and the service are always great. It's our favorite place in the new Public Market. It's small, with only counter seating, so it can get a little crowded. But, it's fun to watch them cook and see all the prep on the other side of the counter. Happy hour prices are good, with a good variety of choices. We'll be back!
