The real deal
Reviewer: Nancy from Santa Barbara, CA
This Szechuan restaurant is definitely the real deal. It is spicy and isn't toned down for American palettes. This place is like restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. If you want authentic Szechuan food, go here!It is pricey but well worth it.

Bad service. Food expensive= soup $16. Way too spicy for American taste.

Real Deal!
Reviewer: David from Goleta
This place seems more like what you would find in the San Gabriel Valley than SB / Goleta. Super menu, authentic cooking and no toning it down for American palate. Anyone who has ever wanted to taste real Szechuan food or anyone who has tasted it and misses it should run, not walk, to this place. We did take out to avoid the (always) crowded dinning room. Prices may seem high at first but not at all for this caliber of food. Would you think $11 or $13 was high for anything at a "real restaurant" and not a dive? No you wouldn't. Not with most places in SB / Goleta running $31 for lunch for two and $50 for dinner. I can't wait to eat here again........ soon.

authentic Sichuan
Reviewer: Alisa from Santa Barbara, CA
Really terrific food, with friendly service. Everything I've tried has been delicious, without exception. Sichuan food is spicy, be forewarned. Servers are very happy to help guide you through the menu. No beer or wine, but you can bring your own in. In my opinion, this is now best Chinese in SB/Goleta. Menu and food photos are available on yelp.
