Second visit here - service was top notch, very attentive. Food was well seasoned and lots of great flavors being played around with. Both vegetarian and meat tacos were delicious and the veggie "nachos" were a great, healthier take on the dish with crunchy toasted kale and peppers. Check them out!

An intriguing addition to the SB food scene, with dishes not available elsewhere (Frog Leg Lollipops anyone?). Gracious & attentive hosts explained the unique dishes in detail, & 4 of us shared & thoroughly enjoyed 12 of them (all but one were small plates). Great use of Farmer's Market produce & spices. We will be back to try the rest of the menu, so many tempting items. Very high quality ingredients, beautifully presented & palate pleasing.

Will be back!, 5/1/2016

Was going to Black Sheep when we discovered that Oveja Blanca was open. (It had, in fact, had been a whole 5 days. Where was I?!) Great table by the window, attentive service throughout the evening. Minimal "Mediterranean" vibe - could use more, but nice. Food: Yum! Octopus Carpaccio to start, very good. (Had a rare wine to pair, this was perfect with it. Reasonable corkage too!) The entire staff raved about the salmon tostada, so that was next. Equal to the octopus - delightful! Also had the Tuna Crudo... then dashed off to the next stop. :) Good job Chef! You've got some innovative, well composed dishes - I look forward to seeing more.

I have been a fan of Black Sheep since they opened. I tried Oveja Blanca tonight for the first time. I really enjoyed it. Most of the menu is small plates suitable for sharing or eating alone. Much of it was very unique, and not something you'll find anyplace else in town. The presentation was very good, and everything tasted great. The prices are very affordable. This is definitely not an iteration on Seagrass - completely different menu, decor, and approach to service. I recommend it highly.
