Stearns Wharf - In 1872 construction was completed on what had just become the longest deep-water pier between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Named for its builder, local lumberman John P. Stearns, the wharf served the passenger and freight shipping needs of California's South Coast for over a quarter century.
Santa Barbara Mission - This is where it all began for Santa Barbara.  The mission is one of the most beautiful in the state and offers real historic insight.  Many events are scheduled at the Mission and it continues to be a focal point of cultural and religious activity.
Santa Barbara Harbor is at the heart of Santa Barbara beauty and a great source of entertainment. You'll find a beach, several excellent restaurants, a museum, and even a water taxi to take you to nearby Stearns Wharf.
Santa Barbara Courthouse - This magnificent Spanish-Moorish "palace" was built in 1929 and is  surrounded by lawns and a sunken tropical garden that plays host to many functions through out the year.  Hardly a Sunday afternoon goes by that a festival, concert or get together of some sort isn't taking advantage of the beauty of this setting.
Santa Barbara Beaches - Santa Barbara has an abundance of sand, surf and sun.  Each beach has its own character and offers a variety of amenities.  Take a virtual tour of a few local beaches. We'll be adding more beach virtual tours on a regular basis so come back and see what's new!
